FREE CONVERSION TOOL
Decimal, American and fractional odds converter.
Convert common odds formats and view the direct implied probability behind the same price.
Odds conversion is mathematical and does not remove bookmaker margin. Rounding can produce small differences.
FORMATS
Three ways to write the same price
Decimal odds
Total return per unit, including the original unit. Decimal 2.50 corresponds to a 1.50-unit net profit.
American odds
Positive numbers show profit on 100 units; negative numbers show the amount risked for 100 units of profit.
Fractional odds
Net profit relative to the stake. Fractional 3/2 corresponds to decimal 2.50.
EXAMPLE
One price, several notations
Decimal 1.91 is approximately fractional 10/11 and American −110. All three describe nearly the same payout and imply roughly 52.36% before accounting for market margin. Rounding conventions can create small differences.
MARKET CONTEXT
Conversion does not remove margin
Changing notation does not produce a fair probability. To estimate market margin, convert every mutually exclusive outcome from the same market and normalize their implied probabilities.
